Reflection
Of The Messiah
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 103
II Corinthians 4:6, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
The Word is
the Messiah. You believe that? Well, the reflection of the Word then is what?
A reflecting of Messiah, which is the Holy Ghost among us. He's reflecting
Himself, tries to, wherever He can find a lamp that He can look through, that
ain't smoked up with creeds and things. He can give Light through.
They crucified Him (Jesus Christ)," and here "they" again do
the same thing, for He is the Word. He's only a reflection of the Word. And
that's what He is today, a reflection of the Word, trying to find somebody
to reflect Himself through.
Brother
Branham said:
I've got a good friend out there that's preaching that message: a Pentecostal,
out telling people, trying to unite the church together, saying that we must
come into this, this ecumenical move. Why, some in them... The Church of Christ...
Many of these denominations that don't even believe in the virgin birth, and
all these different things, and they all belong to that. How can two walk
together unless they be agreed? Then, you said, "Amen" to that,
I wonder about this now: Then how can a man say that he's a Christian and
filled with the Holy Ghost, and deny that that Word is the same yesterday,
today, and forever? The Holy Ghost in you will punctuate that Word, every
Word, "Amen. Amen. Amen." When the Word says anything, you say,
"That's Truth." Amen. 'Cause you're agreed with the Word. You're
agreed with God. You and God are one. God is in you. You're His son or His
daughter, makes you a messiah for Him, the anointed Word living out in you.
Give me a Church that's so completely anointed with God till their every action
and move is THUS SAITH THE LORD, right in that Shekinah Glory, I'll show you
a Messiah (anointed one of God) standing upon the earth.
And I declare
to you that Christ is the Holy Ghost. The word "Christ" means "the
anointed one." Just a person that's anointed, that is the Christ, the
anointed one (St.John 1:41; I John 2:22). How many knows that's true? That's
the interpret. The anointed one, there would be a man that would be anointed:
anointed with what? The Bible said in Acts 10:38 that Jesus of Nazareth, a
Man approved of God, anointed with the Holy Ghost, went about and done great
works and things, that God manifested, proved that He was in this man.
And now, we become anointed with that same Spirit, anointed messiahs, messiahs
of the last day to shine forth the resurrection of Jesus Christ, to show that
He is not dead; but in the form of the Holy Ghost He's in His people, moving
among His Bride with a love affair to Her, pouring out into Her, Himself.
They are becoming one for the wedding supper; and the same signs, promised
by the same God, in the same Word, is making His same manifestation.
Look, Enoch was
the living Word of God of his age; he was a prophet. A prophet is God's reflector.
How many knows that? The reflector doesn't reflect itself; the reflector isn't
the reflection. There has to be something strike the reflector to make it
reflect. So a prophet is a chosen vessel of God that cannot reflect nothing
at all, but he's in direct line with that reflection, God, to reflect the
image of Christ the Word; nothing else can do it. You are a reflector; that's
the reason the prophet had to eat the book. That's the reason he had to eat
the scroll (Rev. 10:8-11; Ezek. 3:1-3). He had to reflect that Word for that
age. You got it?
Notice Enoch, God's perfect reflector in type. When God was through with him,
He just translated him, took him up. The mechanics that he had reflected become
dynamics with the Spirit, and took him up (Heb. 11:5-6).
Same in the days of Elijah. Elijah, even to his bones, where that reflec-tion...
Reflector of God in his body being made manifest the Word of God. They laid
a dead man on it; he sparked to life again (II Kings 13:20-21).
We are flesh and bone of Him, as long as we are the Bride of Christ (Eph.
5:30-32). You believe that? All right. He died for us, and we die to ourselves
and are buried in His Name (Rom. 6,1-5), that we would no more be of the world,
but in Him, of which both the family in heaven is named after Jesus Christ.
That's Ephesians 3:14-15. For both the family in heaven <and on earth>...
What's the family in heaven named? Jesus. What's the family on earth named?
Well, that's the house of God where the Blood's at. Is that right? That's
the Door, that's the Gate, that's the place He put His Name, and the Word
was made flesh and dwelled among us. It's the Word reflecting and sparking
off the age that you're living in. That's what He was; that's what Moses was;
that's what Jacob was; that's what the rest of them was: sparking off that
Word of God, the reflector that God was reflecting Himself. And come to that
perfect Image of God, Jesus Christ, God's Masterpiece; was struck that He
might take the rest of them for a Bride that's been a reflector of Him.
Moses was in Him. Joshua was in Him. And if you are in Him, you was in Him
before the foundation of the world, the family of God; you suffered with Him;
you died with Him; you went to the cross with Him; you raised with Him; and
now you're still with Him, setting in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6), reflecting
the Message of the age to the world, the Light of the world. "Ye are
the Light of the world," but if it's hid by a denominational bushel basket,
how are they going to see It? By your traditions, you make the Light of no
effect. By trying, you denominationals, trying to keep the Light away from
your church; you won't go in; neither will you let them. Amen.
The dirty rags of yesterday, if you remain that way, it'll just become dirty rags all the time. It served it's purpose as clothing, but now it's become paper. Justification served its time in justification under Luther, then it had to become sanctification through Wesley. And sanctification served its time till it come the baptism of the Holy Ghost. And the baptism of the Holy Ghost has served its time until the Holy Spirit (which there's only one God) blends into the church, or the church into Christ, that makes Jesus Christ reflected on the earth. It's what He promised here in the Bible. Might not believe it. I can't make you do that. I'm only responsible for the Word. See? That's right.
Now, there is a Way, a pure, holy Way, a only meeting place that God will meet you. Not because you say, "God, now, I'm a good Methodist. I'm a good Baptist. I'm a good Pentecostal." No. Because that you are in Jesus the Word, the part of the Word that's being manifested today, this day's Message, not Luther, Wesley, Pentecostal; but your Jesus, the reflection, that has come up into this. You can't go back to that; that's adding leaven to your holy Bread, that, "Man shall live by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God in Its season" (Matt. 4:4).
So we realize that we're here in a negative form. And as long as there is a negative, there has to be a positive. There cannot be a negative without a positive, because it's because of the positive that makes the negative. Like you had a negative picture of some object. There has to be an object somewhere to strike--the light strike that lens or there wouldn't be any negative. So when we see that our life here is in the negative and knowing that we're in the image of some life somewhere, then we know that there is a positive somewhere that the light has struck, and it's reflected something here on earth. And we are only that reflection. The genuine object is somewhere. If that isn't, I'm the worst deceived man in the world; I've spent my life in vain. But I know be-yond a shadow of doubt that it's there. That's why we're here.
Here, as I've
often said, I believe, in the church here, there's a roll here like; in here
lives mortal beings. And each one is in this great conglomeration of guilty,
of blackness and darkness. Mortals live in here. Now, they are either influenced
from this a-way or from that way. You cannot be here a spiritual being, sinner
or saint, without having an influence from the un-derworld or from the above
world. If you're influenced from here, you're from above. Your celestial body
is waiting up here. But if you're wicked, and hypocritical, and indifferent,
your celestial body is down here, regardless of how much you think it's up
there; because the fruit that you bear before people proves where you're from
(St.Matth. 7:16). So you are here what you are somewhere else. Your life that
you live here is just reflecting what your inheritance is when you leave here.
Do you understand?
We are right now (oh, when I think of that)--we are right now glorified in
the Presence of God (Rom. 8:28-30), borned again believers, "For if this
earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting in glory,"
not somewhere else, right yonder already waiting now (II Cor. 5:1-4). And
these earthly bodies groan to be clothed upon with that immortality (Rom.
8:22-23). Is that right? Sickness, and aches, and pains, and disappointments,
and heartaches, and... Oh, I'll be glad when the old pesthouse is closed up,
won't you? Yes, sir. We can go home.
As I said in the beginning, what you are somewhere else is what you reflect here. What you are, what your celestial or terrestrial body is up yonder, what your celestial body is somewhere else is what you're reflecting back here. In the spirit land, what you are, is what you are here. If you're still vulgar minded and so forth in the spirit land, you're vulgar minded here. If you still got malice, envy, and strife, you're in the spirit land with that, it re-flects back here. But if your whole innermost being has become cleansed and purged, it shows that you've got a body out yonder waiting, that's been cleansed and purged, and it's reacting back in the flesh. Don't you see? See, there it is. "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." See?
Oh, what a truth!

There's coming one with a Message that's straight on the Bible, and quick
work will circle the earth. The seeds will go in newspapers, reading material,
until every predestinated Seed of God has heard It.
