The Glorious Millennium
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 113

I Corinthians 2:9-10, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

Isaiah 27:13, "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”

Let us see what God's Prophet has said about this very timely subject:

It's time for exodus. It's time for a calling out to the promised land, not the promise of just another country to go to, but a home, the millennium, time for a calling out. The iniquity of this nation is filled up. She's filthy.
Now, I want you to notice, this same Pillar of Fire is leading, the people again to a promised land, the millennium, where we found under the inspiration of this Sixth Seal (Rev. 6:12-17), that's never been taught before, how the earth has to be purified for the millennium. The Pillar Fire is leading them to a millennium.

And notice, the Pillar of Fire that led Israel from the bondage in that exodus, the Pillar of Fire, under the leadership of God, God was the Fire, and the Pillar of Fire only anointed the prophet. The Pillar of Fire was to stand as a heavenly witness that Moses was called out (Exodus 13:21-22; 14:19-24).

But this time (Glory to God.) the Pillar that we see among us, the Pillar of Fire will lead us to the millennium, where He will return to His people in that great millennium reign after this exodus, where we'll live eternally with Him. He always has the Word of the Father, always proves that It's right.
The first exodus, what did He do? He brought them out of a natural land to a natural land (from Egypt to Canaan). The second exodus, He brought them out from a spiritual condition into a spiritual baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:14-36). Now He's bringing them from a spiritual baptism of the Holy Ghost, right back into the eternal land of the millennium and the great hereafter (Rev. 20:4-6; 5:9-10).

Then we can see that the marriage supper is at hand. Now, if I never see you again, remember, the marriage supper is at hand. And then the Kingdom according to the promise is ready to be issued in, the great millennium, the taking up of the Church, and the destroying of the wicked, and the world under the Sixth Seal to be purified by volcanic to take all the corruption and sin of the world (Isaiah 13:6-13), and to mold her out again, and to bring forth a bright new millennium for the age that is to come. When we see all these great threefold revelations: God in Christ, Christ in the Church, the Kingdom coming, Adam and Eve redeemed back to the garden of Eden in the representation of Christ and His Bride, and then the Kingdom is going to be restored according to His promise. Praise be to God.

At the coming of the Lord Jesus, those who are really loving His a-coming, that's living for it, when He appears in the sky, the Church that's dead in Christ shall rise and those will be changed in a moment (I Thess. 4:13-17; Phil. 3:20-21). The rest of them know nothing about it. Remember, appeared to those in the city. See, the rapture will be like that. We'll see each other, and we'll see them. The rest of the world won't see them. It'll be caught away as a secret going, waiting for that time, then returning back to the earth for that glorious millennium, then the thou-sand years. The rest of the dead live not for a thousand years, and then come forth the general resurrection where all Israel... (Rev. 20:11-15).

Now, we find out also in this that the Sixth Seal now being opened, it was for a threefold purpose. Now, here was the purposes: The first thing was that the sleeping virgins had to go through the tribulation period for purification (Rev. 6:12-17). She had to be purged of her sins of unbelief and rejecting the message. This she was done in the tribulation period. We see they wind up over here in Revelations 7, between the 6th and 7th chapter (seal) here, that she had been purged, and she'd been given her robes (Rev. 7:13-17).

Now, she's not the Bride, but it's the church, the pure people that didn't have the opportunity, maybe, to receive the message, or in some way that they were blinded by these false prophets, and they didn't get a chance, and yet they're really sincere in heart, and God knows their heart, and here they're purged during this time.

You notice that another purging time; that's for Israel when she gathers. That's the second fold. God purges Israel in the tribulation period (Daniel 12:1-3; Jeremiah 30:4-9). Out of the millions that'll gather there, there'll be a selected one hundred and forty-four thousand, and they will be purged also (Rev. 7:1-8; Zecha-riah 13:4-9). God's purging Israel.

Notice, there is a whole earth is to be purged. There will be such a thing that the moon, stars, and all nature will be purged. You see what it is? The earth is re-newing herself, being purged, getting ready for the millennium. The millennium's coming up. And see, everything that's got any filth in it is to be purged during the Sixth Seal (Isaiah 24:1-6; Matt. 24:29-31).
Now, now, do you notice on the opening of this Seventh Seal, it's also in a threefold mystery. This one I have--will speak and have spoke, that it is the mystery of the seven thunders. The seven thunders in heaven will unfold this mystery. It'll be right at the coming of Christ, because Christ said no one knew when He would return (Matt. 24:32-44; Rev. 8:1-5 & Rev. 10).

When the millennium starts, how will the unbelievers be taken off of the earth?

The unbelievers will go down in the tribulation period with the sleeping vir-gin, and all those others (unbelievers, and sleeping virgin), and the remnant of Israel that's to be taken out.

Where are the foolish virgins during the millennium?
In the millennium they're in the grave. "The rest of the dead lived not for a thousand years" (Revelation 20:5).

Will the millennium reign be one thousand years or just a count of time?
It's one thousand years (Rev. 20:4-6).

I'm not scared of the world going to pieces. There's going to be a thousand-year's millennium reign after this is all over. God won't defeat His own purpose. Only thing I pray, "Lord, am I right to go when He comes?" That's the only scare I have. "Have I pleased You, Lord?" See, don't fear what man's doing; fear God. Said, "Don't fear him who can destroy the body; but He who can destroy both body and soul in hell" (Matthew 10:28).

There'll be a resurrection of the dead. He'll confirm it. That's right. He'll prove it. There'll be a rapture of the Church. "How's it going to be?" I don't know, but He'll prove it. His Word's true (I Cor. 15:35-58). There'll be a millennium. He'll prove it; It's His Word. There'll be a new heavens and a new earth (Rev. 21:1). He'll prove it, because His Word said so. And only the righteous will be there. He'll prove it too. That's right. Only the ones that's been made part of this Word (see, will be their part and their position in this Word for their age) will be the only one will be there. 'Cause that's just what it is, He is the Word. And what is a woman? The image of a man. And what is the Church? The image of the Word (Gen. 1:26-27; I Cor. 15:49). See, that's exactly. See? So it'll be there, just exactly. Only the true believers in His Word know this and can believe it. And God helps them to prove it, (That's right.) that it is true.

Now notice, the trumpet is to call together the people--assemble themselves together for something. Sometime it announced a important person like in Joseph. They sounded the trumpet and Joseph was appearing, which was a symbol of the Great Trumpet (that we speak of and get to after while) in Isaiah that says when that Great Trumpet sounds and the ensign will be lifted up out there, then there'll come a time when the Great Trumpet will be sound; and all the nations will gather to Jerusalem. That's when the millennium starts, the Great Trumpet.

And in Isaiah 27:12 and 13 is where He sounds that trumpet and all of the na-tions will recognize Israel's in her homeland, God with her. Then the Bride will come to be with the Bridegroom, and the Bridegroom with the Bride (and then the great millennium, after the whole world is destroyed by atomic power; and there'll be a new heavens and new earth) shall live forever (Isaiah 19:23-25).

Satan, god of this age, by his knowledge getting the people to eat from his mixed tree of good and evil... Notice. Satan by his knowledge causing the people of this evil age to eat from his tree of good and evil, he says that he's building a greater Christian civilization by his knowledge of good and evil, a greater Christian civilization (Gen. 3:1-5). But Christ's little virgin Word flock, Bride, don't care for his knowledge. She keeps free of him (Proverbs 3:5-6). What is it?

Now, let's talk about Her a minute? She waits for Her Lord and His millen-nium honeymoon (That's right.) with the Word Groom as She is the Word Bride (Hebrews 9:27-28).

Because when Malachi 4, when that prophecy comes forth, the earth is to be burnt with a fervent heat, and the righteous walk out in the millennium, up over the ashes. And it never happened in the days of John.

Where is that one that's going to sow that seed for that end-time church? Where is that ripening seed, that promised Elijah? And immediately after his days shall the great tribulation set in and burn the earth.

And then at the return of the church and the Bride, the Bride and Christ shall walk out upon their ashes in the millennium, when the earth is purified by fire. And there they shall reign. And the heathens that's never heard the Gospel shall be raised in that time, and the sons of God will be manifested. If he's to reign, he's got to have something to reign over; he's got a domain. "And they ruled and reigned with Christ," and Christ ruled with a rod of iron the nations. Then the Gospel... Then the manifested sons of God with the authority just like He had when He was here, there will come the millennium in that reign, upon the ashes (Romans 8:18-21).

We have had many great battles, spiritual battles. Many great V-days that the church has had; I mean the church, the body of Christ. I'm not talking about the organization system now. I'm talking about the body of Christ. The body of believers down through the ages has had many great V-days.
We've had several wars, wars, and rumors of wars, and V-days, and V-days, and V-days, and... It'll finally wind up into the great battle of Armageddon. That'll be the last of it. When she comes to the battle of Armageddon, that'll settle the whole thing.

Just before the great millennium, Armageddon is to clean off the earth (Rev. 16:16; 19:11-16; Joel 3:1-2). She repurifies herself with this atomic blowing, and the volcanic ash, and thing sinks this soaked blood of men upon the earth, and sin, and crime. She sinks beneath the earth. The volcanic breaks out again, and renews, and cleans the earth for the great millennium. He cleans His church during that time for a people to live here. Amen. I say, I like that. Yes, sir. There's coming a time when it'll be great...

And at the end there will be one Lord Jesus and His Bride many: singular. You get it? There was one David on one throne, one king after God's own heart, with five hundred wives. Jesus, setting on His throne (Hallelujah.) in the millen-nium, with a Wife like it was at the beginning, created out of the earth by the hand of Almighty God in the resurrection, of many members. There you are.

In the millennium, the wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock and shall lay down with the bullock (Isaiah 11:1-10). They'll not hurt or destroy in the millennium. The Devil will be gone (Rev. 20:1-3). It's the Devil that makes wild beasts tear, and rip and eat, and things like that, the way they do. It's Satan that does that.

If they'd (in the Laodicean church age) only recognized the promised sign of the Messiah, the sign of the Son of man. He come in the name of the Son of man. Now, He was in the name through the Pentecostal age, in the Holy Spirit, Son of God. Now, the next thing is the millennium, the Son of David. Three Sons, same God, same Father, Son, Holy Ghost; same God -- Son of David (Matt. 9:27; 15:21-24; 20:30-31; Luke 18:38-39), Son of God (St.John 9:35-38; Matt. 14:33; Acts 9:20), Son of man (Luke 18:8; 17:26-36; Matt. 26:45) -- Son of God is the same God all the time, just in three different office works.

We find, after His death, burial, and resurrection, He came on the day of Pen-tecost as Son of God, the Spirit, in the form, Holy Ghost. What was He doing? He was changing Himself, making Himself known to His people in a different form. Like the Holy Spirit, which is God, He came to deal through the church ages as Son of God, the Holy Spirit. But in the Millennium He comes as Son of David to set on the throne of David: King. He was to take the throne of David; He's on the Father's throne now. And then He said, "He that overcometh shall set with Me on My throne, as I've overcome and set on My Father's throne" (Rev. 3:21). So He--in the Millennium He'll be Son of David. What is it? The same God all the time just changing His mask.

That's all we care to know: God promised it. How's it going to be? I can't tell you, but God said so. He'll send Jesus Christ the second time. He will come in a physical form. He will claim His own. There will be one thousand years' millen-nium reign upon this earth with Him with the redeemed. That's what He promised, and we are looking for that hour to approach.

God in Christ, tangible, made flesh, dwelled among us. And in that great Mil-lennium to come, God in the form of Christ, sets upon the throne of David (Isaiah 9:6-7; 22:22; Luke 1:30-33); and the Church, His Bride, Husband and Wife to-gether...

Time never ceased until the... We got a thousand years after the church has gone home and comes back upon the earth. Then time ceases in the new heavens and new earth (Eph. 1:10).

Now, the millennium is not the new heavens and new earth. There will still be sin after the millennium. The millennium is a type of Noah going in the ark, and carried over, and brought Ham and them on the other side. And sin even come out of the ark. See?

But Enoch, the translated one, was a type of the Bride that went up, not the one that was carried over (Heb. 11:5-6). So sin will still be on the other side of the millennium (Rev. 20:7-10), but not during the millennium. See? During the millennium is peace (Isaiah 65:17-25). See? But sin will be dealt with the other side of the millennium, and then time fades out.

In the millennium there's Elohim setting on the throne with all of His subjects around Him that He predestinated before the foundation of the world.

We have seen, the church, the lukewarm, the anything outside of the elected Bride will go through the tribulation period. They will not raise in the first resur-rection: "The rest of the dead lived not for a thousand years" (Rev. 20:5), just the foreordained, predestinated, elected Bride, God's own elections. "Who is it, Brother Branham?" I don't know? I can't tell you who it is, but I know it's going to be there, 'cause the Lord said they would. See? They are the ones that'll go up from the tribulation (Rev. 3:10), but the rest of them will go through the tribulation, go down, and everything will be killed before the millennium. Then the righteous shall come out in the millennium and live a thousand years.

And after the thousand years, then the great white throne judgment comes, and then the dead, both right and wrong is raised (Matt. 25:31-40). And the books are opened, and the Book of Life was open; and the saints, the Wife and the Husband, set and judge the world (Rev. 20:11-15). And there it comes to pass the saying: "And He'll judge all nations with a rod of iron" (Rev. 2:26-28; Psalm 2). All nations shall stand before Him there, and He'll judge them with the rod of iron. He'll separate the sheep from the goats and say to the goats, "Depart," and the sheeps, "Come, ye blessed of My Father."

Now then, there will be a camp meeting of the saints upon the breadth of the earth. And Satan is loosed out of his prison and goes to make war again with the saints, just exactly what he done in glory to begin with (Rev. 20:7-10). And then God rains fire and brimstone out of the heavens, and the whole earth is removed like... It just burn up and destroyed. And there's no more sea, no more water, no more nothing left on the earth. Volcanic will spray and burst and blow, and the whole thing...
"And I saw a new heavens and a new earth: for the first heavens and the first earth was passed away; and there was no more sea. I, John, saw the holy city ... descending from God out of heaven as a Bride adored for her husband." Remember it? And in this Bride... "Behold the Tabernacle of God is with men," and God shall dwell with them upon this pyramid-shaped city fifteen hundred square miles. And in the top of the city there'll be a Light. Amen (Rev. 21:1-27).

Question: Brother Branham, where will the Bride be when the earth explodes and burns up? Will it be in a place like the children of Israel were in Goshen when the plagues fell? Will the Bride be on earth while this takes place? If so, where? And will the Bride all be in one place at the time of the rapture?
The Bride, when the earth explodes... The time of the rapture will be the awakening of the dead and the get-togethering of the living, for--with the living, for the rapture to take place. Now, but the Bride... Now, see, one of them is a rap-ture way back here before the millennium. And when the earth burns up is back here after the millennium and after the white throne judgment. See? The Saints will be camped upon the breadth of the earth when Satan comes up around the beloved City and God rains fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them. All right. Now, that's Scripture.

Remember here not long ago, I was teaching you on the Seven Trumpets, the Feast of Trumpets and so forth? And I said, "There is an eighth day festival." So the seventh day would be the last; that would be the millennium. But there is an eighth day festival, which if it was the eighth, and there's only seven days, would make it the first day again--come right back to the first day. Then after the millennium is over, then there will be an established Eden again. God's great Kingdom will be taken back, because Jesus fought it out with Satan in the Garden of Geth-semane, and won back the Eden, which He's gone to prepare in heaven to return again. Up in heaven, He said, "Let not your hearts be troubled" (St.John 14:1-3; 16:33).

Question: The church age ending and has blacked out, the Bride is called, we have already entered into the tribulation period?

No, no, no, you're... I wished that I could just have more time on that. See, see? The Bride, when she's taken from the church, then the church age will cease. Laodicea goes into chaos; the Bride goes to glory; and the tribulation period sets in upon the sleeping virgin for three and a half years while Israel is getting its prophecy; then tribulation sets in upon Israel; and then comes the battle of Armageddon which destroys all things. And then, the Bride returns back with the Groom for a thousand years, the millennium reign; after that comes the white throne judgment; after that comes the new heavens and new earth and the new city coming down from God out of heaven. Eternity and time blends together.
