Freedom
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 119
"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye
continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know
the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's
seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made
free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth
sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever:
[but] the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall
be free indeed" (St. John 8:31-36).
Let us hear what God's Prophet for this age has said about it:
Moses had a understanding
that he was to be the deliverer from the teaching of his mother. And he trained
himself in military might to do so, but it failed (Exodus 2:1-25). See? He
had the understanding; he had the education, but that didn't work. So he had
to forget it all and come to the simple thing of taking God at His Word, and
then he delivered the people. Yes, sir.
God delivers by what? Faith in His Word. Always has been...
I want you to
remember this; Gentiles, the Gospel that's given to them is a faith Gospel,
not a works at all. See? Like I said last night. When the Holy Ghost fell
at Pentecost, when they went down to the Jews (Acts 19:1-6), they had to lay
hands on them that they receive It. And when they went down to the Samaritans,
they had to lay hands on them. But when they come to the Gentiles at Cornelius'
house, "While Peter spake these words..." No laying on of hands
(Acts 10:44-48).
When the little girl died, Jairus' daughter, the priest said, "Come lay
hands on her, and she'll live." (Mark 5:21-23,35-43). But when the Roman
centurion, the Gentile, said. "I'm not worthy You come under my roof,
speak the word." (Mat. 8:5-13). That's it.
The Syrophenician woman, Greek actually what she was, when Jesus said to her,
said, "It's not meet for Me to take the children's bread and give it
to the dogs." She said, "That's true, Lord; but the dogs under the
table eats the children's crumbs." He said, "For this saying, the
devil's left your daughter." (Mark 7:24-30; Mat. 15:21-28). Say good
things then. Say something good about some-body. Talk about Jesus. Say something
loyal, something real. That's the way to get rid of devils. He never prayed
for the girl. He never said one thing about her being healed; He just said,
"For this saying, for this saying..."
Hattie Wright, the other day, she didn't ask for nothing. She was just setting
there, but she said the right thing, which pleased the Holy Spirit. And the
Holy Spirit spoke back and said, "Hattie, ask anything that you will,
what-ever you got and you want. Find out whether this is real or not. Ask
anything (the healing of her little crippled sister setting there all drawed
up; ten thousand dollars to keep her from digging on them hills over there;
the youth restored to her well run-down body); whatever you want to ask, you
ask it right now. If It don't come and give it to you right now, then I'm
a false prophet." That's something, isn't it? (And she asked for the
salvation of her two sons, and the Holy Spirit gave it to her immediately.)
One night when
God ordained that a lamb should be killed, type of Christ, and the blood was
dipped in hyssop, which is weeds (common, humble), and put over the lintel
of the door, and on the posts, and that's when Israel become completely delivered,
with not a hoof left behind. All that belonged to them was delivered. Their
families, their loved ones, and everything was delivered when they com-pletely
come under the blood (Exodus 12:1-42).
That's when the church shall be completely delivered, when everything comes
under the Blood. When your sins come under the Blood, when your smoking, when
your gambling, when your cheating, when your stealing, when your lying, when
everything is brought under the Blood, then there'll be a to-tal deliverance.
If you've wronged somebody, make it right. You can't bring that under the
Blood; it won't stay. You can't bring it. Something won't let you do it. When
your self is completely, totally brought under the Blood, there'll be a total
deliverance. Then you'll have a freedom like you've never known before, when
everything's brought under the Blood, brought in submissive to the King-dom
of God. Then there'll be a real deliverance.
Jesus was completely, totally man. He could cry like a man, He could eat like
a man; He could become like a man. He was completely, totally man in His physical
being. And in His Spirit, He was completely, totally God, so He made His flesh
submissive to the Spirit that was in Him. You see, He was tempted in all manners
like we are. He was man, not an Angel. He was a man. He had desires and temptations
just like we do (Heb. 4:14-16). The Bible said He did. He was a man, not an
Angel above temptation. Hebrews 1:4 said He was made lower than the Angels
(Heb. 2:5-10). He was man, completely man, that God took a com-plete man to
bring total deliverance; and He filled Him with His Spirit; the Holy Ghost
was in Him without measure. And He was tempted like we were. And He was completely
God (John 1:1-3,14-18; Col. 1:14-15; I John 5:20). He proved it when He raised
the dead, when He stopped nature, the roaring seas and the mighty winds. When
He spoke to the trees, and so forth, they obeyed Him. He was God inside (II
Cor. 5:18-19; Heb. 1:1-3). And He could've been man, for He was Man, but He
totally and completely delivered Himself as a Man into the hands of God for
the service of God. And He is our example.
We are men and women. We're also Christians. If He's our example, let us completely
deliver ourselves into the hands of the Holy Ghost, we might be sub-jects
of the Kingdom of God.
He was totally man; He was totally God, but He surrendered His natural parts
and His physical parts, and His Own thinking, and His Own doing, and His Own
cares, and "I do only that which pleases the Father." (John 5:19).
There you are. Totally delivered from human beings...
And when a man
has said that he believes the Word, and then when the Holy Spirit comes, It
is the Abstract to the title. And that gives you permission, when you have
that Abstract, that every bit of that belongs to you, and everything's on
it belongs to you. Amen.
And that gives us the Abstract, when the Holy Ghost comes upon this title
deed that God saw back yonder 'fore the foundation of the world, and put it--name
on the Book of Life, but was born through a man and woman, and subject to
sin, and guilty of sin. But when I believed on It, I received the deed. But
when the Holy Ghost come, It was the Abstract that everything against me,
whether my mother done it, my father done it, my grandmother done it (like
the little epi-leptic child I prayed for a few minutes ago, that come through
from the grandpar-ent--the epilepsy fell down and--upon the child, I said),
but when the Abstract has come, It struck off, omitted everything. I'm a Abstract
holder then. Amen. And as sure as the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead,
I have a Abstract deed that I'm part of that Body, with the Abstract of the
Holy Ghost making that body of Word live out, just exactly like It did in
Him as He promised in the last day: the Abstract.
All my sins are struck out. All your sins are struck out by the Blood of Je-sus
Christ, and the Holy Ghost is come as an Abstract to the title deed that God
give me by grace by foreknowledge. Oh, my.
What you scared about? No wonder He said, "Fear not; I am He that was
dead and alive again, and I'm alive forevermore and have the keys to death
and hell. Don't worry about nothing; even death ain't going to hurt you"
(Rev. 1:18).
Notice. Beautiful. Let's go right quick now. The Abstract title. The debt
is set-tled; everything against it has been struck off. Ha, ha, ha. Glory.
I may act silly, but I feel good. Notice. See? Oh, an Abstract deed. Do you
realize what that means? You realize what that means, brother? There's nothing
can take it away from you. Amen. I am a holder. Amen.
What a deed? I have now cashed in on my beneficiary of His death, burial,
and resurrection. He become me, that I might become Him. Now, He became a
sinner that I might become a son (Amen.) and hold the Abstract deed, for "these
signs shall follow them that believe," the Abstract deed.
See, the Gentile Bride is in heaven (during the 3 1/2 years great tribulation),
and the sleeping virgin, the Gentile virgin, is not to be saved during that
time; she's already been saved, but has been rejected in the Bride. And she
only goes through the tribulation period for the time of purification, because
she has rejected Christ, the Word, for her purification. Then she has to suffer
for her deeds, but the Bride who has become the Word, a complete atonement
was made of Christ (I John 2:2), 'cause He is the Word. That body was rended,
and when that body was rended, the Bride was in that body, because It's all
the Word. Amen. You see it?
When Jesus suffered in that body, He suffered... 'Cause a man and a woman
are one person. Eve was taken out of Adam, and the Church... What happened?
God opened up the side of Adam and took out of there a helpmate, the bride.
And God opened up the side of Jesus at Calvary and took out the Bride (Eph.
5:30-32; Gen. 2:21-25). See? And when Jesus died at Calvary...
Remember, the Bride was not taken from the body until the body was dead. He'd
already died, and they was going to break His legs. And the prophet said,
"There'll not be one bone broken." (John 19:31-37; Ps. 34:20). So
they done drawed back the hammer to break a leg, and a man run up with a spear
and pushed it through His heart; and water and Blood came forth; He was already
dead. She was already redeemed in the body by His death, so there's no more
suffering tribulation period for the Bride. See? She goes in. But the Gentile
church that just believe on Him and take the denominational creeds and so
forth...
Brother Branham
was asked: "What about the people that believe in the Lord now and not
the way you preach?"
They don't have to believe this. They don't have to believe the way I preach
it. See? Don't have to believe that. "... for the last day Message. Will
they be saved?" Yes, if they believe the Lord. See? And if they disagree
and say, "I don't believe He's the Word. I don't believe that this is
right. I don't believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost," that shows
where they're headed for, the tribulation period. But those who can accept
the Word in Its fullness, not me preaching It, because It's the Bible says
so. Those who accept that is free, because the Word's al-ready been judged
(John 5:24).

There's coming one with a Message that's straight on the Bible, and quick
work will circle the earth. The seeds will go in newspapers, reading material,
until every predestinated Seed of God has heard It.
