Hear His Voice
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 122

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand" (St.John 10:27-29).

Let us remember this as we journey to our home. Don't you never let this Message die from your hearts. Whatever you do, don't you do it. You meditate on this day and night. And pray day and night for God to rise His witness now. We're ready, for I believe soon time shall be no more. We're coming...

"When will it be, Brother Branham?" I don't know. Maybe today; it may be tomorrow. If it isn't today, I'll be looking for it tomorrow. And it may be this year, next year, ten years. Maybe thirty years, I don't know when it'll be, but I say from now on, you be prepared every minute.

And don't take just something ordinarily. Don't do that. Don't you rest day or night until you've talked to God. Keep yourself from fanaticism. Don't get worked up in emotion. Don't do that. That's what brings so much radical stuff and makes people afraid of it, is because of the radical fanaticism. Don't you accept that; not at all. You stay right there till you talk to God. After all, it's your soul, and you're the one's going to spend eternity out yonder. And you be sure that you just don't shake hands, and say a creed, or accept something by faith. Don't you do that. You talk to God; let God talk to you; and watch what happens to you. Watch your desires and what happens; then you'll know whether you talked to God or not.

Hear His Voice. And you can be sure. You cannot be sure of God's Word if you just read it; God's got to speak through the Word to you.
Noah was just as sure it was going to rain as it could be. He was certain of it. There was no uncertain sound when God said, "Noah, build an ark to prepare for the saving of your household." (Genesis 6:8-22). That was no uncertain sound. It seemed like to the people it was uncertain when some wild man, farmer, got some silly idea in his head, that he was going to build away on an ark; and it had never rained, or dew had never fell from heaven, or anything.

"If that was God's voice said it's coming, God's able to put it up there to fall down." He was certain it was going to rain, because God's Word said so and it was certain. And he knew it was certain.

The prophet of God spoke about God's eagles:
So has God in every age ordained His church for that age: a message for that age. And they could have laws and anything that they want to, but when that hour come, the Holy Spirit of God, which is at the beginning thought out and spoke out for that age, that Spirit hunts that egg. And when he hears that message, there's no church denomination going to hold it. It'll rise to the heights. It's got to.

It's a different bird. It's a different creature. He's a eagle, and he'll hear the scream. "My sheep hear My voice." As someone said, "sheep-food." "My sheep hear My voice, a stranger they will not follow" (St. John 10:1-6).
No matter how loyal the church has been, and how much its big a name it's got, when "My sheep hear My voice (which is the Word), a stranger they will not follow." They'll go right straight to that Word, and they can do it. It's like a magnet.

And then, if there be any questions that you don't understand, I ask you to bring your books, and then you who have tape recorders can get the tapes, and put them in your home, and set down with an open heart--just an open heart. Just lay it out and say, "Lord, I've just relaxed now; I'm going to listen"; and then when you catch something, turn the recorder off and go get the Scripture. And the Bible said, Jesus said, "They are they that testify of Me" (St.John 5:39). See? And let's look through the Scripture and see if it's all right.

What is His Voice? Any man's voice is his word, and this is It, the Bible. Not one word to be added to It or taken from It, just stay right with that Voice. A stranger, they won't follow a denomination.

Brother, sister, this is the hour and the time of the calling out of Babylon. The evening Lights are here (Zechariah 14:6-7). Walk in the Light while it is Light (St.John 12:35-36). Notice, the believers saw the Word manifested and believed It. Jesus said, "My sheep know My Voice, My Word, My signs of the age. A false one they'll not follow."

The Holy Spirit wants you to live godly every day in the week and every night, separating yourselves from the things of the world. But the church don't want that. They want some man who can interpret the Bible the way that they want to hear It. They won't listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking through the Bible.

Notice, big noises, but it didn't attract the prophet (Elijah). The prophet didn't care about the big noises. But when he heard that still small Voice, he knew that was the Word; he veiled his face and come walking out (I Kings 19:9-18).

Then Jesus Christ said one day, "Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, drink His blood, you have no life in you" (St.John 6:53-69). He didn't explain it.

Those apostles and them of that day who was ordained to Life, He knowed it. Said, "All the Father has given Me will come (St.John 6:37.44). Only thing He had to do was just make My voice known; they know it. For My sheep know My voice." And a voice is the Word expressed. ...they'd believe it, anyhow. They don't have to scientifically prove anything or ask any Sadducee or Pharisee or any-thing else about it. "I said it; they believe it. For My sheep hear My voice." And This (the Bible) is the voice of God in letter form, because This is the entire revelation of Jesus Christ: Old and New Testament put together. Amen. There you are.

"My sheep hear My voice." They know the Word. What is His Voice? Here It is. These creeds, they don't follow, but they hear My Voice; they follow It.

Jesus said. Only thing we got to do is make a sheep call. Goats don't know it. Notice. But you see the sheep call... "My sheep hear My voice." Why? What is a voice? I want to tell you what a voice is. A voice is a spiritual sign.

He said to Moses, "If they won't hear the voice of the first sign, they will hear the voice of the second sign (Exodus 4:1-9). My sheep hear My voice."

When these things are supposed to be taking place in the last days, sheep of God recognize that. See, see? They recognize it. "My sheep know Me; stranger they won't follow." They won't follow them strangers. It's got to be a vindicated sign for the day, and they see it.

Now, in John 5:24 rather, Jesus said, speaking this way, "He that heareth My Words and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life and shall not come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life." Just think how simple that is. "He that believeth..." Now, the correct way of saying that, "He that under-standeth..."

Now we also find in Hebrews the 12th chapter and 24th verse, that the New Testament, the Blood speaks better things. The Blood is speaking. Then the Blood's got a Voice. And the Voice of the Blood is the Word. Hallelujah. That's what makes it whether it's right or wrong. The Word is identified by the Voice of the Blood. The Voice of the Blood is the Holy Ghost that brings Life. It is Life, and It brings Life to the Word and quickens It. Amen, amen, amen.

Sure, the Blood speaks; It speaks a better thing. The Old Testament, the blood spoke of guilt. In the New Testament It speaks of redemption. In the Old Testament it spoke of death and sorrow. In the New Testament It speaks of resur-rection and Life. It speaks of healing. It speaks of joy. It speaks of power. It speaks of Life. It speaks of heaven. And that same Blood that was shed upon the ground, that called out after his dead brother, or called out after his brother that had killed him (Gen. 4:8-13). The Blood of Jesus Christ covers all of our sins, and speaks peace and resurrection, and power, and Life, and healing. And all the redemptive blessings that the Blood was shed for, It speaks for us. Certainly, the Blood speaks. Oh, my.

Now, there's only one way that you can be saved. That's by faith are ye saved, and that by grace (Eph. 2:8). The grace of God spoke to you, brought you to the altar. You're seeking God's blessings. You're seeking His Word. You're seeking the Holy Ghost. You're seeking the favors of God. If you are, and you can really with all your heart, surrender it. Now, don't look for any emotion. Look for a Truth, a Truth that's from your heart by faith. Lord, I'm willing to do anything that Your Word commands me to do. I surrender myself with all that's in me.

And now, Father, we pray that You'll commune back to us tonight through the written Word. Give us something in our hearts, stabilize our journey, Lord, and give us new courage.

I just feel led of the Spirit though, to do something different now. I just feel that God wants me to do something a little different. Listen to me now, while we're in prayer then. I just started to tell Billy, "Come up through the aisle and give out some prayer cards."
But the Holy Spirit said, "Don't do that." That's the reason I sung "Pass me not, O gentle Saviour." I thought, "What is it, Lord?"
I want to tell you this. Now, if you'll believe me and listen. Whatever it is, it's in your heart, whatever it is you want to know, whatever your sickness is, be-lieve Him now. He will speak to you now. He's going to do it. He's going to speak to you individually. I believe it with all my heart. The Holy Spirit is going to do it, speak to you, tell you just what you have need of. Whatever He speaks to you, do. If you're crippled, He says, "Get up and walk," you get up and walk. If you got a cancer, and He says, "Forget about it from today on," you do it. See if it don't happen.
If you're stand in jeopardy, don't know which way to turn, He will tell you just what to do. He will put it in your heart right now. Don't doubt Him. Go do it. Do just what He tells you to do. He will do it.

Now, I pray, God, that everywhere these words fall, both on tape and present here, that the Holy Spirit will call every predestinated person just now, from the foundation of the world when their name was put on the Lamb's Book of Life (Rev. 13:8). May they hear the voice of God speaking today, and that little, still, small voice down in their hearts saying, "This is the way, walk in it." Grant it, Father. I ask it in Jesus' Name.
