What God Has Promised For This Day
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 152

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the fulfillment of the promise of today, you will see it; but if you are looking for some intellectual, or something that they have always looked for – some great founder, some historian, some other person, something else – you will fail to see It. But when you look at Him through the Word, the Word declares who He is! [1]

Some promises for this day are:

1) THE MARRIAGE OF THE BRIDE (Rev. 19:6-10) - His Wife hath made Herself ready –

Now, remember, that was not Jesus talking to Abraham there, that could discern the thoughts in Sarah's mind behind him. That was not Jesus; He had not yet been born. But it was a Man in human flesh, that Abraham called, "Elohim, the great Almighty," (Gen. 18:1-18), showing... And Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Sodom," now watch close, "in the days of Sodom, so will it be at the coming of the Son of man, when the Son of man is being revealed." (Luke 17:26-30). Not no more as a church, not no more; the Bride's called. "In that day the Son of man will be revealed." What? To join the Church to the Head, unite, the marriage of the Bride.

The Bridegroom call will come right through this, when the Son of man will come down and come in human flesh to unite the two together. The Church has to be the Word; He is the Word, and the two unites together, and to do that it'll take the manifestation of the revealing of the Son of man. Not a clergyman. I don't know... Do you see what I mean?

See, it's Son of man, Jesus Christ, will come down in human flesh among us, and will make His Word so real that it'll unite the Church and Him as one, the Bride, and then she'll go Home to the wedding supper. Amen. She's already united; we go to the wedding supper, not to the marriage. But the rapture is going to the wedding supper. When the Word here unites with the person, and they two become one, and then what does it do then? It manifests the Son of man again, not the church theologians, the Son of man. The Word and the Church becomes one. What¬ever the Son of man done, He was the Word, the Church does the same thing. [2]

2) THE SON OF MAN BACK IN THE CHURCH AGAIN, revealed in human beings, not the Son of God, but the Son of Man again, back in His Church again in the last days. We find that He promised that in God’s promises.
And we find out here that God has always had skin on Him. When Moses seen Him, He had skin on Him; He looked like a man (Exod. 33:12-23). When God was behind the curtains, He had skin on Him. And God tonight in His Church is veiled in His Church with skin on Him. He's still the same God tonight. We find that.

But now, as ever, the skin veil is what catches the traditions. They just can't believe that that's God making them people act like that. See? It's because God's veiled in His church, in skin, skin on It. That's right. He's hid from the unbeliever and revealed to the believer. Yes, sir.

Now, when their tradition veil of the elders and the Word is broke through (oh, of course, today), then comes in plain view, we see Him: Deity again veiled in human flesh. Hebrews 1 said so, and also Genesis 18. You remember God was a Man, standing there eating and talking with Abraham, and told what Sarah was doing in the tent behind It. And Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Sodom, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man," Deity veiled again in human flesh.

Now remember, Jesus didn't say, "When the Son of God is being revealed," in Luke the 17 chapter, I believe, and about the 30th verse; He said, "And when the Son of man is being revealed," the Son of man back in the church again, revealed in human beings, not Son of God, but the Son of man again, back in His church again in the last days. We find that He promised that in God's promises.

We notice another thing. In the Old Testament (I have a Scripture here in Exodus) that the old badger skins (Exod. 26:14), what did it do? It hid the glory of God from the people: the badger skins. The reason the people couldn't see It, because it was a skin that held It... The glory of God was behind the skin. And now, the glory of God is behind your skin (That's right.), and the traditions don't see it. It's inside the veil where His Word was. [3]

The Son of Man is Christ, He’s the One that you are feeding on. You’re not feeding on a man. A man, his words will fail, but you’re feeding on the unfailing Body-Word of the Son of Man [4] (Luke 17:28-36; Joel 2:28).

3) And now, THE ENTIRE HOLY SPIRIT VISITS THE CHURCH making God in human flesh as He did before Sodom, the burning there, which was a type. [5]

The Holy Spirit has been bound by these denominational rivers, for almost two thousand years, but is to be loosed in the evening time, by the evening-time Message. The Holy Spirit back in the Church again; Christ, Himself, revealed in human flesh, in the evening time. He said. He promised it. [6]

4) THIS IS COMING INTO THAT THIRD PULL.
But “It will not be a public show.” [7] There will be no impersonation like there was of the other two pulls (which were healing and prophesying). And we are looking, Lord, for that Third Pull that we know that will do great things for us in our midst. [8] It will be absolutely to the total lost, but it will be for the Bride and the Church. [9]

But did you notice, that was Sovereignty given. I never asked Him, “Lord, let me do this, speak these things in like that, do these things there.” I never asked Him that. He by His own divine Will came to me and said, “You go do this.” I wasn’t asking one thing about it. [10]

5) WE ARE COMING NOW TO PERFECTION, because the people have to come to this in order for the rapture. That’s what’s holding it away right now, is waiting for that church to come into that perfect raptured faith. It’s a perfect place (II Cor. 5:1-8; John 14:1-3), calling you to that perfection, and you have to be perfect to get there. The Bible said so. Jesus said, “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matt. 5:48; Heb. 10:14).

Not a faith, but a perfect faith, built it up in here. And watch a perfect God, with a perfect heart, keep a perfect promise, by His perfect Word. [11]

Them who lived back there was not perfect until this church be perfected, the Bride group in the last days to bring them in and all together be taken up (Heb. 11:39-40). And we do have today, by God’s help, the perfect interpretation of the Word with Divine vindication [12] (I Cor. 13:9-10).

6) A LATTER RAIN POURED OUT UPON THE PEOPLE IN THE LAST DAYS (Joel 2:28-32). I think the Greek word there is “kenos”, which means that “He emptied Himself out,” not in the way that we would say, like something was inside of somebody that had emptied out, but He poured Himself out. He changed His – “en morphe”. He changed from what He was to what He is. He never changes His nature. [13]

That is, He changed Himself; He “poured Himself” into another mask, into another form; not another person went out of Him called the Holy Spirit, but It was He Himself. You get it? He Himself poured Himself into the people: Christ in you (Col. 1:26-27). How beautiful, how wonderful to think, God pouring Himself into the human being, into the believer: pour out. It was a part of His drama to do so. God, all the Fullness, all the Godhead bodily was in this Person Jesus Christ (Col. 2:9). He was God and God alone, not a third person, or a second person, or a first person; but the Person, God veiled in human flesh [14] (I John 5:20).

Oh, there will be a true former and latter rain in the last days upon that little group that come with Him on this little donkey, low and humble, no doubt or denomination, crying, “Hosanna to the King that comes in the Name of the Lord!” What’s the matter today? What’s the attraction on the mount? [15]

7) IN THE EVENING TIME, “IT SHALL BE LIGHT”, He said (Zechariah 14:7). And the same Son that poured out Himself, “kenos”, on the day of Pentecost, promised to do the same thing in the evening time. It’s according to the promise [13] (Psalm 119:105; John 8:12).

8) IT IS UNITING TIME OF GOD AND HIS BRIDE. Christ, the true Headship coming in His Bride, doing the same works that He did at the beginning (John 14:12). The Head and the Body are becoming one in works and in sign and in Life, vindicated by God Himself through His promised Word of the last days. He promised this in the last days. Now, if you are spiritual, you’ll catch it. The Headship and the Body has become one unit. It’s God manifested in His people. That’s the reason the husband and wife is no longer twain; they are one. God and His Church is One. Christ in you, God’s great revelation, even bearing His Name. [16]

You see churches uniting, nation uniting, but it’s a uniting time of God and His Bride, too. [17]

9) THE DYNAMICS OF THIS CHURCH WILL BE A REFILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, that we have worked in a small measure, while the Headstone is coming down to unite with the Body. But when the Head and the Body unites together, the full power of the Holy Ghost would raise Her up just exactly like… The Dynamics is the Holy Spirit. [17] There will come sound from Heaven that’ll take such a Baptism of the Holy Spirit into that Bride that’ll take Her (the Bride) from the earth in a rapturing grace into Glory, in the Rapture. God promised it [18] (I Thess. 4:13-17; I Peter 1:3-5).

10) THAT WORD AGAIN IS WAVED OVER THE PEOPLE, that the dead traditions of man is dead and the Son of God is alive again with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit right among us and is giving us Life [19] (Lev. 23:9-11).

11) THE MYSTERIES OF THE SEVEN THUNDERS ARE REVEALED through the opening of the seven seals (Rev. 10:1-7), in order to get the Bride together for rapturing faith, and to give faith for the rapturing grace for that Church to move out. [20]

Now this messenger of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 is going to do two things. One: According to Malachi 4 he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers. Two: He will reveal the mysteries of the seven thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the seven seals. It will be these Divinely revealed ‘mystery-truths’ that literally turn the hearts of the children to the Pentecostal fathers. Exactly so. [21]

12) THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and revelation in the knowledge of Him comes into the church, to make known by the revelation of the Holy Ghost what day we are living in, to reveal these great, deep, secret mysteries [22] (Eph. 1:15-21; Rev. 10:7).

13) THE TIME OF TRANSFORMATION IS NOW.

And God has sent His transforming power, His Word, to bring you out of these deformity of religion that you’re in, transformed by the renewing of your mind (Rom. 12:1-2).

And there's only one thing that can quicken the Word, and that is the Spirit, for It is the Life-Giver to the Word. And when the Life in the Word meets the Life of the Spirit, It produces whatever the seed is. [23]
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

That's what we all want to do is; Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind to do the perfect and acceptable will of God. Now, that we have been saved, as we are; and that we have been filled with the Holy Spirit, as we have; now we want the mind that was in Christ to be in us, that we might be transformed from the natural things of life, and be brought in to do the perfect will of God by transformation of God's Spirit by His Word.

The things that you once thought upon to be precious, lay that aside and be transformed to something else; to what you was at one time, to what you are now. See? “... by the renewing of your mind, that you might prove... that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Oh, that's what we all want to know, how to do it. See? We're here; we love Him; He saved us, and now we want to know what to do. And we were trying to take a little step to raise up just a little bit higher. [24]

14) WE ARE ON OUR WAY GROWING TO THE FULLNESS OF THE RESURRECTION, led by the Spirit. And now you are already resurrected. When God raised Him up, He raised you (Eph. 2:4-6); the Son is just now on you. And now you’re growing into a blossom Life like He was, to be resurrected completely in that last day. Your potentials you have now. Why do you know? Your soul changed, didn’t it? Your body come in obedience to It, didn’t it? Into obedience to what? A Church? The Word, which is the Life. Then you are now resurrected from the dead [25] (Col. 3:1-4).

15) WE ARE WAITING FOR THE FULLNESS OF ADOPTION, after we have received the Spirit of adoption [26] (Rom. 8:15) and we are by the Holy Spirit positionally placed in the body of Christ for a purpose here on earth: to do the will of God [27] and to work with the members of the Body of Christ. [28]

This fullness of adoption will take place when? At the first resurrection [26] (I Cor. 15:51-54). Now is adoption time, when God pours into us His Fullness, His power, His resurrection, that when the church and Christ become so close together till Christ becomes visible among us, and raises the dead, and we got into the rapture [29] (I Thess. 4:13-18).

16) THE BODY CHANGE: The next thing will be a sweep… That little group together. In a month or so She’ll be gone (Matt. 27:51-53), as soon as She’s gathered together. We’re at the end. There’s no hope left nowhere. Run to Christ, people! [30] (II Cor. 5:1-8; I Cor. 15:51-54; Phil. 3:20-21; I John 3:1-3).

17) THE RESTORATION (Mal. 4:5-6; Joel 2:23-27).
For God said, "I will restore It." He's going to restore It how? By four death messengers killed It; then four Life messengers will restore It. What was the first? Martin Luther, justification. What was the second? John Wesley--by sanctification. What was the third? Pentecost with the restoration of the gifts, the Holy Ghost, baptism of the Holy Ghost. What was the fourth? The Word. What? The Word. [31]

The end-time message is to get the Bride ready and prepared for the rapture. What can it do? According to Malachi 4:5-6, is bringing them back to the faith that was once delivered to the saints (Jude 3): bring them back to the faith of the fathers, the Pentecostal part, in the restoration time. "I will restore, saith the Lord." That's real end-time evangelism. [32]

If you want another Scripture, take over here, Revelations 10. And said, "In the hour, the time of the last angel, the seventh angel, seventh messenger, begins to sound, the mystery of God is finished, the restoration back to the Word. The Bible said that this messenger of the last days would restore them back to the original faith again, back to the faith of the fathers. Last days He would restore the original Word again, as He said in Malachi 4. [33]
With the restoration of the Word, we received the restoration of the power. [34]

18) THE PROMISE ABOUT HIS COMING. Christ has started descending from heaven with a shout, that’s the message to get the people together, getting the people ready (I Thess. 4:15-18). It’s the message going forth first, the living Bread of Life bringing forth the Bride. The second is a voice of the resurrection (the resurrection of the dead in Christ) and the third thing is a trumpet, which always calling the people to the feast; and that’ll be the Bride’s supper, the Lamb’s Supper with the Bride in the heavens – in the sky. [35]

19) A REVIVAL:
A revival, to my opinion, doesn’t consist of bringing in new members. A revival doesn’t consist of a bunch of conversions, although those things go along with a revival. But a revival is “to revive what you’ve already got”, just to get them revived [36] (II Peter 1:12-15).
The Bride hasn’t had a revival yet. There has been no revival there – no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet, see? We’re looking for it. It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it. He promised it. Now watch. Now, she was dead [33] (John 5:25-27; Eph. 2:1-5).

Let the Word of God have pre-eminence. That’s what we need – a revival! Wash all the unbelief out, and all the bugs, and superstitions and things come out, and see that God’s still God. That’s what we have revivals for. [37]

I think that it’s a time that we should never let the Spirit of revival die. We’ve got to keep in revival, constantly revive every day. Paul said he had to die daily that Christ could live (I Cor. 15:31). And we must never let that revival die within us. [38]

Notice, but watch when the spiritual Bride when She begins to have a revival, when She begins to come back and line Herself up with the Word of God, watch then again, you see, how that the Scriptures at that time, there will be a message sweep out to catch that Bride – catch that woman-elect. [39]

May there come forth a revival of the just, and a great Power come among the Church just before Its going. It’s not hard to pray that, because You promised it. And we’re looking, Lord, for that third pull that we know that will do great things for us in our midst. [8]

20) NOW IS LAMP TRIMMING TIME (Matt. 25:6-8).
A message comes forth first. Now “lamp trimming time”. Rise and trim your lamps. And they did. Some of them found they didn’t even have any oil in their lamp. [35]

21) APPLY THE TOKEN (the Love of God, Rom. 5:5, the Holy Ghost)! (Acts 16:31; Exod. 12:13). Then walk with it. Claim your household. You must do it now. This is evening time. Now, you’ve been listening a long time; now it is evening time. It is applying time, now! The wrath will strike one of these days, and it might be too late then, see. Apply the Token with confidence.
The Token for the believer today is the Holy Ghost, not a blood, a chemistry; but it is the Holy Spirit of God. That is the Token that God requires of the church today. God must see this Token. He must see it in every one of us.
God’s requiring a Token that you, yourself, have received His Token, the Holy Ghost. It’s the only way and the only sign that God will ever pass, because It is the literal Life of Jesus Christ returned back into the believer. [40]

22) THE RAPTURE (I Thess. 4:16-17).
Now there is going to be a rapture, we know that. That’s in the future to be. [41] The word “rapture” - the Bible said, “caught up, being caught up.” We read in I Thessalonians 4:13-17 the order of this great rapture that will take place in the last days. [35]

23) THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB IN HEAVEN for 3 ½ years (Rev. 19:6-9).
Now where will the Gentile Church be while Jesus is making Himself known to His brethren? Remember that the bride of Joseph with the two children were in the palace, for Joseph had commanded, "Let everyone leave me; put them all out from before me." (Gen. 45:1-5). So the Gentile bride was hidden in the palace of Joseph. Where will the Gentile Church go in the rapture? Into the palace. The bride will be taken off the earth. She will be caught up before the great tribulation to meet her Lord in the air. For three and one-half years while the retributive wrath of God is poured out (Rev. 11:1-6; Daniel 12:1), she will be in the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Then will He return, leaving His bride in "His Father's house," (John 14:1-3) while he makes Himself known to His brethren. At this very time, the antichrist covenant that the Jews have made with Rome will be broken. Rome and her allies then send their troops to destroy all the God-fearing, Word-abiding Jews (Zech. 12:1-14; 13:6).

But as they come against the city to destroy it, there will appear in the heavens the sign of the coming of the Son of Man with His mighty armies to destroy them who have been destroying the earth (Matt. 24:29-31). With the enemy repulsed, Jesus then comes and presents Himself to the 144,000. Having seen His mighty acts of salvation, they have come to know His power. But also seeing His wounds and knowing that they had rejected Him even to that moment, causes them to cry out in the agony of terror and fear, even as did their brethren of old when they stood before Joseph, being sore afraid that they would be killed. But as Joseph said, "Don't be angry with yourselves. It is all right. God was in it all. He did it to preserve life." Even so will Jesus speak peace and love to them. [42]

Love, love, love Him! See what He done for you. It’s by love; love brings obedience; love brings courtship; love brings marriage; that’s where we’re headed: Marriage Supper of the Lamb. I hear my Saviour calling that He loves me too. [40]

24) WE ARE IN THE THIRD EXODUS. God is now calling a spiritual Exodus out of a spiritual Babylon to His elected, only to His elected. The Pillar of Fire, the same anointing Spirit leading to a land that He has promised to us. Now He’s bringing them from a spiritual Baptism (I Cor. 12:13) of the Holy Ghost right back into the eternal land of the Millennium (Isaiah 2:2-4; Isaiah 65:17-25; Isaiah 25:6-8) and the great hereafter. [43]

25) WHO OVERCOMETH, I WILL GIVE HIM TO SIT WITH ME ON MY THRONE (in My dominion) – to reign and to rule with the great King in the Millennium, the kingdom of 1000 years of peace (Rev. 3:20-21; Rev. 20:4-6).
It is such a wonderful blessing to know the Lord Jesus as our Saviour, and to know Him as our Healer, and looking for Him to come as our King to set up a Kingdom on earth, that we shall rule and reign with Him for a thousand years, forever be with Him [44] (Isaiah 32:1-2).

May our lives be so submitted to Thee that the Holy Spirit will live Itself through us and speak through us, Lord. May we remember in our minds as we walk upon the streets and rub arms with the world, we're not supposed to be like those; and we step aside and give them the place, Lord, and their rightful position here on earth. We'll take the back seat, knowing that we are delegates from another world; we have a Kingdom that's coming into power, Lord. And our great King will soon arrive, and take over all the kings that's in His domain, and the overcomer shall rule and reign with Him here on earth a thousand years and be with Him forever. [45]
