Plan of Redemption
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 172
Hebrews 9:11-12, “But Christ … by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.“
That was our
program, to make our churches and denominations. But that wasn't God's program.
We tried it in the garden of Eden. It's as old as Eden was. "Religion"
means "a covering." And Adam tried to cover himself to make his
own way, cover hisself up, but it didn't work.
There's only one place that God ever meets man; that's not in his education;
it's not in his denomination, his affiliation; it's under the Blood. And that's
the only place that God ever did or ever will meet mankind, is under the Blood.
That's the place. God laid down the program in the garden of Eden by the shed
blood.
And if God ever makes a decision, He can never change it, because He's perfect,
and everything that He does and says is perfect. Therefore, He cannot change
His program as long as there is a world and as long as there's a sinner. There's
only one way, since the garden of Eden, when sin was first committed, until
the last sin will be made. There's only one plan of redemption; that's through
the shed Blood. Nothing else will work. Our creeds, our denominations, and
everything has played a part, and a good part, but it isn't God's program.
His program is back to the Blood. [1]
The denominations confess that they believe the Blood, but they reject the
very plan to get to the Blood, the Word. [2]
God before the foundation of the world, said, "In the beginning was the Word." (John 1:1-3). And what is a word? Is a thought expressed. The Father God, seeing the plan of redemption, He looked it over and seen what Satan had did. And He thought, and He seen the only program, it’s into a thought now, but when He expressed it, it became a word. And once a word it can never die; it has to be eternal. For His Word can no more fail than He can. [3]
And God, when He seen that the enemy of this world was going to do what he did, God thought how He would send the great plan of redemption, and when He thought it, then He spoke it, and It was as good as done right then (Prov. 8:22-31). And thousands of years later came the Lord Jesus Christ and died for sins and rose again some nineteen hundred years ago for our justification (Isaiah 9:1-7), setting at His right hand now, as a High Priest making intercession upon our confession (I Tim. 3:16). See it's already finished, and any word that comes out of God's Bible, you can rest your soul upon It. [4]
Now, Adam in the garden of Eden, when he first sinned, God had a way of redemption for him, right quick, just as soon as he sinned. God made a way of redemption. And before Adam could ever approach back to fellowship with the Father, God had to slay an innocent lamb, or sheep, and make him a cloth to go around him (Gen. 3:21), and throw out the welcome carpet for Adam to walk back on the carpet of redemption, to come into His Presence again. God always had a plan of redemption, and that's been through blood, ever since the very beginning and dawn of time, perceived in the mind of God, before the world ever come into existence. [5]
When it come to the plan of redemption, He came alone; nobody was with Him. He was the only One that could come. An Angel couldn't do it. Another man called His son, couldn't do it. One called something else, a holy virgin, or a holy mother, or some saint, couldn't do it. God had to come. "And I'll give you the Sign. A virgin shall conceive; and a baby will be born, and He will be Immanuel: God with us" (Isaiah 7:14), the super sign. God in His people. God with His people. God become His people. God and man became one. [6]
There's only
one thing left that did not fall, and that was God, the heavens. So something
of the heavens had to come down to redeem this creation, because there was
nothing here that could create it. And God's own love for the world created
the character expressed in Christ. He was God's character. He was God's expressed
image (Col. 1:13-15). In Him was God, God in Christ revealing Himself to the
world (II Cor. 5:18-19). And no love could ever be greater than that love,
that such a Person would become what He did in order to redeem what had been
lost (Luke 19:10). Just that thought right there should set the whole world
to a shame, to see what a condition that we have fallen into, and what...
God projecting Himself to make a plan of redemption to redeem this fallen
character of ours.
This was done so that the penalty could be paid, because the penalty was death.
And one under the sentence of death could not pay the penalty for the next
one under the sentence of death. So there had to be somebody come who was
free from death in order to pay the penalty (Heb. 2:9). And none other could
come but God, because He was the only One that was free from the penalty of
death (Rom. 6:23). [7]
And when Jesus died for sins, He died for every attribute that sin ever produced.
See? So when sin was finished, it was all finished, the complete plan of redemption
(John 19:30; Col. 2:13-15). If you just knock him in the head with the sin
question (Gen. 3:15), kill sin you kill every attribute of it. [8]
Jesus was the Fullness of the Word of God, His whole plan of redemption, God's
whole sufficiency was in Him (Col. 2:9-10). [9]
Well, the whole plan of redemption lays under these Seals, the whole Book. [10]
When these Seven
Seals was opened, that opened up the entire Bible. The Seven Seals, it was
sealed with Seven Mysteries. And in these Seven Seals, held the entire mystery
of it, and it was the Book of Redemption: New Testament, not the Old; it only
proclaimed for the New Testament. "They cannot be made perfect without
us." (Hebrews 11).
See, now the redemption only come when the Redeemer died. And they were potentially
under the blood of lambs (Heb. 10:11-22), not the Redeemer, hadn't been redeemed
yet until the Redeemer came.
Notice. Now, when this Redeemer... John looked around, and here set God on
the throne with the Book in His hand that had been sealed with Seven Seals,
and the whole plan of redemption was in it (Rev. 5+6).
John looked around, and there was no man in heaven, no man on earth, nobody,
no Angel, nothing could take the Book or to loose the Seals or to even to
look on It. No man was worthy. John said he wept bitterly (Rev. 5:1-5). Then
an Angel came to him, said, "Weep not, John, for the Lion of the Tribe
of Juda has prevailed, and He's worthy."
And John looked to see a Lion, and what did he find? A Lamb, and it was a
bloody Lamb, a Lamb that had been slain. How long? Since the foundation of
the world (Rev. 13:8). The Lamb came forth, walked up to Him that had the
Book in His right hand, and received the Book, climbed upon the throne and
set down. That's it. It was over. When? When the seals was revealed. When
the last one that was... Everything that He had redeemed, there was nothing...
He come to redeem. [11]
And now, we found
out that a slain lamb is a bloody lamb, bleeding all over. It's been slain.
After It'd been slain, It'd raised again and was setting on the throne, say
back in behind the throne like this, interceding for all those souls that
would come. Then when the last one was here and it was completed... God still
held the Book of Redemption. See? Now, He's just doing the Kinsman work now;
like Boaz went down, and Ruth was just setting there waiting until Boaz...
I mean Boaz done the kinsman redeeming work (Lev. 25:25-55).
Now, so Ruth was just waiting, because she'd already labored. She'd done all
of these other things, but she was waiting. And then when the Church is waiting,
resting, many of them, most of them in the dust of the earth (Rev. 14:13),
while He's doing His Kinsman Redeem work (Ruth 2-4).
Now, He's going to show the church what He done. See? Then He just takes... But the Book is closed. No one knowed at all. They know it was a Book of Redemption on it there, but it's to be revealed in the last days according to Revelations 10. The seventh angel is going to be given the message of that, because it said that in the time of the sounding of the seventh church age--the seventh angel, when he sounds, all the mysteries of God should be finished up by his sounding. Then after it's revealed, the Angel come down from heaven, which was Christ (Now remember, this angel and is on earth, a messenger). Down comes Christ (You see Him in the 10th chapter of Revelations.), puts one foot upon the land and the other one on the sea, rainbow over His head, eyes and, like--and feet like fire and so forth, raises up His hand and swears by Him that lives forever and ever on the throne, that time shall be no more. [12]
Now remember,
this seventh angel (Rev. 10:7) is on earth at the time of His coming. [13]
And this sevenfold Book of seven redemption plans has been brought to us,
and that's what this Book holds. Now, we're going to get over in the 10th
chapter where this mighty Angel proclaims something, and He had a little Book
that John had to eat. And when he did, he got it into his belly and it was
bitter, but in his lips it was sweet (Rev. 10:8-11).
When you have digest It, then It gets bitter, everybody's against you, everybody
telling "You're a holy-roller, you're this, that, or the other. See,
you're off your head." So it's hard to digest It; but when you're testifying
of His glory, It's sweet in your lips. That's all. See? And when you stand
up in a meeting, you say, "Glory to God. Hallelujah..." Oh, when
you're going through that great siege, it's hard; but then when you're out
of that great siege you can testify of it, then It's sweet in the lips. See?
That's right. That's this Book of redemption. [14]
And notice how
God makes plain to us His plan of redemption. Oh, this just thrilled my soul
when I saw it. How He makes plain to us here now, His plan of redemption.
Now, compare what we see with our own eyes what God has done to redeem His
world. He's done the same plan to redeem His people. For the unchangeable
God changes not any of His plans or anything. Such a glorious thing.
Notice the old world (the antediluvian), the world that's present now, and
the one to come. Now, first stage that He brings us to... See, His plan of
redemption is exactly the same by everything. He uses the same method. He
never changes. He said, in Malachi 3:6, "I am God and I change not."
The way He does it, therefore, if He saved the first man He ever saved by
the shed blood of an innocent One, He will have to save the next one; and
every one He saves will have to be the same way. If He healed a man at any
time through the journey of life, let it be in the days of Jesus, the apostles,
the prophets, whenever it was, when the same conditions is met He's got to
do it again. That's right. He doesn't change. Man changes, time changes, age
changes, dispensation changes, but God remains the same: perfect. What a hope
that ought to give the sick people.
If He ever healed a person, He has to do it again when the same conditions
is met. He ever saved a man, He's got to do it on the same grounds He did
at the first time. If He ever filled a man with the Holy Ghost, He's got to
do it on the same grounds He did the first time. If He ever raised a man up
from the grave, He's got to do it the second time and every other time on
the same principle. He doesn't change.
What happened?
Christ came and called the Church to repentance, (water) baptism in the Name
of Jesus Christ for the remission, sanctified the Church, and with the Fire
of God come down and burn out all the filth and come and dwells in the human
heart (Acts 2:37-41).
Now, the world, to be redeemed for this redeemed person, He uses His same
method. He baptized it in water after the antediluvian destruction (in Noah’s
time), shed His Blood upon it to sanctify it and claim it. It's His.
See how Satan here in the Scripture tried to make Him break God's plan to
receive it--give it to Him, when he took Him (Jesus) up on the mountain and
tried to give it to Him without the purchase of the Blood? (Luke 4:1-13).
Satan tried to say, "I'll give it to you." He said, "No, sir,
I'll buy it." Let it be a witness. He was lifted up for an ensign--that
He bought it; He purchased it. But now it has to go through a baptism of fire
(Rev. 21:1), holy fire from God which cleanses the earth and the heavens around
it. Then it's purchased so that the redeemed can live on it--live in it in
peace.
Notice, the baptism of fire is to cleanse it from sin, from sickness, from
disease germs, from sinners, from the devil and all of his group. He's to
be cast out into the lake of fire (Rev. 20:10). Holy fire from God comes down
from God out of heaven and burns it up to make it ready for God to dwell in.
For God, in the new world that is to come, is to dwell in the earth 'cause...
You say, "God? He dwells in the human heart." But He and the Bride
becomes One, and they go to their home in the new world (Rev. 21:2-14). And
the same plan of redemption is used to redeem both world and the persons that
live in it.
See, the heart has to be cleansed like that. Before God can come down in the
Person of the Holy Ghost, which is Christ coming down and dwell in the human
heart, it first must be repented (Acts 3:19-21). It must be baptized in water
in His Name to show Who it belongs to (Acts 10:47-48). Then it must be cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus (I John 1:7; Heb. 9:14). And then the holy fire and
Holy Ghost from God comes down and burns out all the desire of sin, all the
nature of the world (Matt. 3:11).
See, He redeems the earth in the same way He does His people. He makes it all just the same, His plan of redemption. For He is the unchangeable God, always the same in His plan. [15]
From Genesis to Revelations, a complete plan of redemption is revealed in these Seven Seals. Oh, it's an important time. God help us to get it. [13]
