Harvest Time

Spiritual Building-Stone No. 185

St.John 4:35, “Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

Listen what the Prophet of God said about it:

The mystery of the tares and wheat of Matthew 13:24-30, is now also fulfilled.

"Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into My barn."

The wheat and the tares, which from the first age until now have grown side by side, are harvested. What Nicaea set out to accomplish has finally come to pass. With all the might of organization the false church turns from any vestige of truth and with political might reinforces herself with state backing and sets out to eradicate forever the true believer. But just when she is about to accomplish her cowardly plot the wheat is gathered into the garner.
This age is the last of the seven church ages. What began in the first or Ephesian Age must and will come to full fruition and harvest in the last or Laodicean Age. The two vines will yield their final fruit. The two spirits will terminate their manifestation in each of their final destinations. The sowing, the watering, the growing is all over. Summer is ended. The sickle is now thrust into the harvest.

The words of John the Baptist who so accurately set forth the Christ in relationship to the true and false church now comes to pass (Matt. 3:11-12).

Christ, the Great Harvester, is now reaping the fruit of the earth. He gathers the wheat into the garner by coming for His own and receiving them forever unto Himself. Then He returns to destroy the wicked with fire unquenchable.

And so we come to the last age: the Laodicean Age. That is our age. We know it is the last age for the Jews are back in Palestine. No matter how they got there; they are there. And this is harvest time. But before there can be a harvest there has to be a ripening, a maturing of both the vines.
The Lutheran Age was the springtime. The Wesleyan Age was the summer of growth. The Laodicean Age is the harvest time of gathering the tares for binding and burning; and garnering the wheat for the Lord (Matt. 13:36-43).

Harvest time. Have you noticed that in the harvest time, though there is a real acceleration in the ripening, there is consequently a slowing of growth until there is no growth? Is that not exactly what we are seeing now? The false vine is losing multitudes to the Communists and various other types of belief. Her numbers are not increasing as she would like us to think. Her hold on the people is not what it used to be, and in so many cases going to church is just a show. And the true vine? What about her? Is she growing? Where are those vast numbers that keep coming to revivals and answer altar calls? Are not most of them merely emotional in their approach, or desirous of something physical rather than desiring that which is truly Spiritual? Is this age not like the day in which Noah entered the ark, and the door was shut, but yet God tarried in judgment seven days? (Gen. 7:1-10). No one was literally turned to God in those silent days.

And yet it is the harvest time. There then must come upon the scene in this age those who will bring the wheat and tares to maturity. The tares are already maturing very fast under corrupt teachers who turn the people from the Word (Eph. 4:11-16). But the wheat also must mature. And to her, God is sending the Prophet-Messenger with the vindicated ministry that he might be accepted by the elect (Mal. 4:5-6). They will hear him as the first church heard Paul, and she will mature in the Word until becoming a Word Bride the mighty works will be found in her that are always attendant upon the pure Word and faith (John 14:12).

The latter rain can come only after the former rain which is the spring or teaching rain. The latter rain, then, is the harvest rain. [1]

Whatever life you live, that's whatever life you reap. Just as you sow, you reap (Gal. 6:7-10). God has let me live long enough to see that you can't do wrong and get by. You've got to do the right thing, because Christ is risen from the dead, and His eyes is upon the church, and He watches it and guides it. Don't never go against the feelings of the Holy Spirit when He tells you to do something (Eph. 4:30). No matter what the world says, you do what He says do. He will always vindicate the truth and keep the truth straightened out. [2]

"Here is what I am trying to say to you. The law of reproduction is that each specie brings forth after its own kind, even according to Genesis 1:11-12, "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, and the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so."

Whatever life was in the seed came forth into a plant and thence into fruit. The very same law applies to the church today. Whatever seed started the church will come forth and be like the original seed because it is the same seed. In these last days the true Bride Church (Christ's seed) will come to the Headstone, and she will be the super church, a super race, as she nears Him. They in the bride will be so much like Him that they will even be in His very image (Eph. 5:25-27). This is in order to be united with Him. They will be one. They will be the very manifestation of the Word of the living God. Denominations cannot produce this (wrong seed). They will produce their creeds and their dogmas, mixed with the Word. This mongrelizing brings forth a hybrid product. [3]

And remember, Christian friends, I'm a man; I can make mistakes, but God, being God, cannot make a mistake. All the Words that's been written must be fulfilled; Jesus said so. So we've got things here in the Scripture that must be fulfilled, and that is one of the things, this boycott to come (Rev. 13:11-18). But before this boycott can come of the marking of the beast, there has to be a Seed sowed for God to take a church out of it. You understand now? A Seed has to be sowed. A denominational seed to make a form or an image to the beast, the church of Rome... And there has to be a true Bride.

Now, there has been three different kinds of seeds planted: A denominational: Billy Graham; he was a head planter. Oral Roberts for the Pentecostal... Pentecostal seed's been planted. (I'm talking about organization now.) And then the Word's been planted. Now, you'll have to under¬stand, folks. I ain't saying this no more 'less God tells me. I want you to get this good and clear. Three seeds has been planted. That's the reason the planting's just about over, all over. Seeds must be planted before the rain falls (That right?) or otherwise the Spirit. Now, you're going to disagree there, but hold on just a minute. Seeds must be planted and then the rain falls to water the seed. Is that right? [4]

If we sow denominational seeds, we reap a denominational harvest. That's exactly. That's what we've done.

If you notice that word there in the Hebrew, former and latter rain; former rain means a sowing rain. And then when the Spirit falls, it falls on the just and unjust. If we've sowed denominational seeds, we just reap the denominational harvest. [5]

Denominational seed gives denominational forgiveness. That's exactly right. God said, "Let the Word be after Its kind," and so it is. That's right. Oh, brother, the Scriptures is true. You believe it? [4]

We notice that the first sower of the seed of discrepancy was branded the devil, and we know it was in Genesis 1. There we find out, and over here in the Book of Matthew the 13th chapter, Jesus still brands any discrepancy to His Word as being the devil. Anything that sows discrepancy, contrary to the written Word of God, or puts any private interpretation to It, is the seed of discrepancy. God will not honor it. [6] One thing God hates is sowing discord among brethren. [7] He can't. It won't mix. It certainly will not. It's like mustard seed (Matt. 17:20); it won't mix with anything else; you can't hybreed it; it's got to be the genuine thing. Seed of discrepancy... [6]

See, cast your bread upon the water. It'll return to you someday. Sow the right seed; you'll reap the right crop. If you sow the wrong seed, you'll reap the wrong things. You can't go east and west at the same time. You're either going one way or the other.

Follow the compass, and the Compass is the Holy Spirit. The magnetic pole of the north holds that compass exactly north. Isn't it wonderful that the electronics of the air... [8]

Did not Jesus say that some sowed seeds and when it did it fell by the wayside and the birds gathered it? Some went in stony ground and riches of the earth choked them out, like briers and so forth. And didn't He say some went over and brought forth a hundredfold? (Matt. 13:1-9,18-23,36-43). See, you must first let the Word fall in the right type of faith. And then that faith produces what the Word said, because the Word is a Seed (Luke 8:11). The Word of God, right here, is a Seed that a sower sows. And every seed will produce its kind if it's put in the right atmospheres and the right condition. [9]

Now, He's promised to send you heavenly Light (Zech. 14:6-7) to ripen the Word Seed that would be sown for this day. The Seed is in here. The Seed is the Bible. Why? Jesus said so: "The Word is the Seed that a Sower sowed." And now, before you can have any crop, no matter if you sow the seed, it's got to have light to ripen that seed, or it'll rot and won't do no good; it'll perish. But if it's got seed in the ground, the right ground with the right kind of a sunlight on it, it's got to ripen. And He promised that in the last days, in the evening time the Sun would come out to ripen that Seed. The Seed is being preached. The Son of God is ripening that Seed by vindicating It, making It push out before you, and proving that It's right. [10]

So the seed of the enemy went forth, while the good Sower went forth sowing good seed, and the enemy come behind him sowing corrupt seed. But the rain falls on the just and the unjust (Matt. 5:45). It all has to grow. Jesus said, "Let them grow together, at that day they'll be bundled"--the tares (Matt. 13:30). And they're bundling them now, in big organizations going to the big bundle: World Council of Churches. And what is the end? Is to be burned (Rev. 18:8-10). But the grain's to be take to the garner (II Thess. 2:7-12). See? Where they both live by the same thing, the same water, the same rain... [11]

I know it's a long ways around, but I wanted to get this picture to you, so you'll never forget it. No matter where you're at, if you're in the pool room, if you're in a gambling hall, there's Somebody invisible watching you; if you're standing persecutions for the Name of the Lord's sake. No matter what it is, mark anyone you wish to, and watch; the man will reap what he sows every time. If he's doing wrong, he will never get by with it. If he's doing right, he's got to come into glory with it. You just can't beat it; It's God. He's here. He knows the very depths of your heart. He knows who you are and everything you've done. [12]

"God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." They can't mock, and make fun, and say these things, and get by with it. Like bread upon the water, it'll return (Eccl. 11:1). [13]

God's Word must every time be fulfilled. The cogs of God's prophecy grind slow, but sure. If you do wrong, you think you're getting by. But just remember, young man or woman, it's going to grind right up to your door one of these days. You'll wonder when and how, but it'll be there. You'll reap what you sow every time. God spoke it; it's got to be so. That, "Thy Word is settled in heaven forever." (Psalm 119:89). It's already said. They don't argue about It up there; it's already settled. We argue about It. But in glory It's settled. When God says anything, it's got to be. Well, isn't that wonderful? [14]

Now, you might do things wrong, and every time you do anything wrong you are going to get paid for it. Yes, sir, you'll reap what you sow. But that has not one thing to do with your salvation. When you're borned of the Spirit of God (John 3:3-8), you got Eternal Life and can no more die than God can die (John 5:24). You're a part of God; you're a son of God. [15]

Then Christ was the Seed of Abraham, and we being dead in Christ and baptized into His body, we are Abraham's Seed and are heirs of the promise (Gal. 3:29). How are you ever going to fall away, if God made the promise to you? How are you going to ever backslide, and go away, and have to go to hell for it?

Now, you say, "Well, can't we backslide?" Absolutely. And when you backslide, you're going to get it; don't you worry. Abraham got it, and the rest of them got it, and you'll get it (Gen. 20). Don't you think it gives you a right to sin; it doesn't. You'll pay for everything that you do. You'll reap what you sow. You do one little sin, and you'll reap a whole washtub full. That's right. But, brother, that don't mean to say that you're lost. That's exactly right. Abraham reaped exactly what he sowed. That's right. But he was still saved.

The covenant that God made with Israel, they lost their in-heritage; they lost the promised land, and went down into Egypt, but they hadn't lost their covenant. God said, "I remember My promise to Abraham. I remember it, and I've come down to deliver My people (Exod. 3+6:2-5). Go down there, Moses, and tell Pharaoh I said, 'Let My people go.' I remember I made a promise to Abraham and to his seed." [16]

Now, they get whippings for doing wrong; you reap what you sow; you get that. Don't think now you can just go on out and sin, get by with it. If you do and got that attitude, it shows you've never been borned again. You get it? If you still got the desire in you to do the wrong, then you're still wrong (Hebr. 10:2). See? For He has perfected forever those that... (Hebr. 10:14). And those beasts under the Old Testament, under legal days, offered yearly, continually, could never take away sin. But when we put our hands upon His head and confess our sins and are borned again of the Spirit of God, we have no more desire of sin (I John 5:18). Sin has passed from you. That's for time and eternity. [17]

But let me tell you something; we need a stirring, this nation does. The things that we once had, we've lost. And we're trying to live upon a reputation of what somebody else done. We'll reap for it. God made Israel, a people after His own heart, He made them reap, and we'll reap too, for what we're doing. We have nothing else in front of us but reaping. We've crossed the line of grace and mercy, and nothing else left but a reaping. Mark that in your Bibles. I'm an old man, but you mark that down and find out whether that isn't true or not. And maybe when I'm gone, and on and on, you'll find out that those words are true. We're going to get it. We're weighed in the balance and found wanting, and there's no way out. Right. We've done crossed that line. You've got to reap what you sow, every time. [18]

And no one knows how I appreciate this nation. But look, my brother, Israel also was chosen of God, and He sent her prophets and great men. But God cannot stand sin. He made Israel reap every grain they sowed. And if He made Israel reap what she sowed, He'll make us reap what we sow. He is no respecter of person. (Col. 3:25; I Peter 1:17). [19]

God hates sin, and sin must be judged. It's been said, that if God doesn't judge America pretty soon for its sin, He will have to resurrect Sodom and Gomorrah and apologize to them. Certainly. And we will reap what we sow, and everybody that's got any spirituality to them is realizing that's the truth. We're at the end of the road. [20]

We're looking for it. We don't know when the time is. I'm believing it's this time, and I want to hold the torch light up. And listen. Now, catch this right. I want to live each moment of my life that I'm looking for Him the next moment, but I want to carry on like it would be ten thousand years from now. I still want to sow seeds, reap the harvest. I want to preach the Gospel and carry on just as I always did. On like that, with my eyes up, watching, pulling the cradle of getting the sheaves, the grain. And then next year I'll sow my crop again, "Lord, I thought You'd be here last year, but if You're not, You may come this year. So I'll put my crop in to raise my children. If you tarry, they'll have something to eat; if You don't, I'll be looking for You." There you are; just carry on just normally. [21]

There´s coming one with a Message that´s straight on the Bible, and quick work will circle the earth. The seeds will go in newspapers, reading material, until every predestinated Seed of God has heard It.
