The Spiritual Seed: The Elected of God
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 186
Galatians 4:6, ”And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
Listen what the Prophet of God said about it:
When God moved
upon the water with the Light, and Light brought forth. The first Presence
of God, spoken Light came by God's Word (Gen. 1:3). And God's Word is the
only thing that still brings Light. And when the waters went back, the seed
was already in the earth (Gen. 1:11-12), and the Light only brought forth
the seeds that remained with germ in them, come forth, God making His creation.
And now, on Easter morning there was another Light struck the earth when the
Holy Spirit was given. And It's given to bring Light to those Seeds that God
by His foreknowledge knew that would be here on the earth. As He knew the
first natural seed, He knows where the spiritual seed is. Your body was laying
here right then on the earth when God first brought the earth into existence.
We are a part of the earth. We were laying there. And by His foreknowledge
He knew exactly who would love Him and who would serve Him, and who would
not. His foreknowledge tells that (Ps. 139:1-18). If it doesn't, then He isn't
God. He can't be God without being infinite. And if He's infinite, He knows
all things (Eccl. 3:14-15). [1]
And today, God's calling His elected, the spiritual seed of Abraham by the faith that he had in the Word of God (Gal. 3:7). Don't you see the spiritual seed today that don't see the intellectual church; it sees the Word. [2]
The seed of Abraham
wasn't the natural seed; it was the spiritual seed.
And the Scripture said that when we are dead in Christ we become Abraham's
seed (Gal. 3:29). Therefore, if you are borned of the Spirit of God (John
3:3), (if you are in JESUS Christ), you are Abraham's seed and are heirs with
Abraham according to the promise. And thy seed shall possess the gates of
his enemy. [3]
Let's check up on some of the seed of Abraham in the natural seed, which, we be today the spiritual seed. But let's find out by the natural seed, of some of them that believed the full promise of God... [4]
Down through the centuries we could go. We find a Moses, a Jeremiah, a John the Baptist, and each one of these were God's eternal thought expressed in its season. Then we come to Jesus the Logos. He was the perfect and complete thought expressed and He became known as the Word (John 1:1). That is what He is, and forever will be. [5]
Many of you can
fellowship with me on this thought. When you was a little boy, or a little
girl, you'd walk around and there would be certain things that would just,
where it wouldn't bother the other kids, it seemed like there was something
in you that cried out (Ps. 42:1-3). There was God somewhere, yet you were
a sinner. You remember that? Certainly. Now, what was that? That was that
little form of Life in you then.
And then after while, you heard the Gospel. Maybe you went to church; you
picked out this and that, and went from denomination to denomination. But
one day, you being part of God, you had to be part of the Word. And when you
heard the Word, you know where you come from, you knowed what was the Truth.
You were always, the seed was in you always. The Word seen the Word that was
in you, that was before the foundation of the world, saw the Word and you
come to It. [6]
Notice that Word
cannot deny Itself. Then it is satisfied--or it's the desire. It's a desire
of what? What made you desire It in the first place? Because down in your
soul, [7] what is a soul? It's you. You are a soul, the part inside of you.

There was a predestinated seed which was Eternal Life always laying in there,
always was in there. "All that the Father has given Me will come to Me
(John 6:37). There isn't any of them going to be lost."
When a thinking man hears the Word of God, "My sheep hear My Voice, a
stranger they will not follow," for down in there is Life, and Life connects
with Life (John 10:3-4). Sin connects with sin, and sin is so hypocritical
until it thinks that it's saved when it isn't saved. It's in the very depths
of hypocrisy.
Church members want a denomination filter so that they can have their own
desire and still be classed religious people. You hear them say, "Oh,
he's very religious." [7]
And when we was
going into those cycles about how that the five senses on the outer realm...
That's the inlet, five senses to the body. There's only one way you can get
into the body, that's by those five senses: See, taste, feel, smell, and hear;
there's no other way to contact the body.
On the inside of that man is a man called spirit. And he has five senses:
Imagination, and thought (reason), and love (affection), and conscience, and
memory. All right.
Now, you can't think with your body; you think with your mind. And in there
is where too many of Christians only stop. And they can, just like the corn
in the field and the weed in the field, they can be anointed with the same
Holy Spirit that the real believer's anointed with. But down on the inside
of that next realm, the third realm, is the soul; and that's predestinated
by God. There's where the real seed-germ lays, is in there.
That Laodicean church age, naked, blind, miserable, don't even know it... (Rev. 3:14-17). See, it's anointed with the real Spirit. See that Holy Spirit can fall upon a man in his spirit, but his soul is his germ. That germ is the Word. See? I don't care how much you preach, how well you do this, and how much you love... That's one of the inlets the spirit. You can't love with your body; you love with your spirit. That's one of the inlets. And you can love and even love God, and still not be right. You can cast out devils, and preach, and do these things, still not be right (Matt. 7:21-23). Jesus said so; said many would come in that day. That Word settles it. [9]
Now it says that
"He hath chosen us in Him (Jesus) before the foundation of the world"
(Eph. 1:4). That means that we were right there with Him in the mind and thoughts
of God before the foundation of the world. That gives an eternal quality to
the elect. You can't get away from that.
These elect were not only the eternal thoughts of God which were to be expressed
in flesh in their due season, but these same elect are called by another name
(Rom. 4:16; Rom. 9:7-13). [5]
And when He raised up the Son of God on Easter morning, and sent forth the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4), it was to quicken also that seed of Eternal Life, that He foreknew before the foundation of the world, that would be here. [10]
And a real Seed of God is an absorbent for the Spirit. All denominationalism's took out; all unbelief is out. And when the Holy Spirit comes into that germ of Life that's laying there, It produces another Seed, just exactly. Another son of God is born (Amen.), another amateur god, son of God. [11]
"And by one Spirit we are all baptized..." (I Cor. 12:13). And the Spirit is the Life of Christ (is that right?), the Life of Christ. And the life of any seed, which He was the Word Seed, brings the seed to life. You get it? If that life is laying in the seed and this baptism of the Holy Spirit comes upon it, it's bound to bring that seed life. [12]
God, by His death, the shed blood bought back His own (I Peter 1:18-20). He bought back the Spoken Word Seed Bride. "My sheep hear My voice (Word) and they follow Me." You always were a sheep. You never were a pig or a dog turned into a sheep. That is impossible for every kind of life produces the same kind and there is no change in specie (Gen. 1:24). [5]
Now, God, in
six thousand years had planted all these wonderful seeds, or He had spoken
His Word. "It shall be this way. This tree shall be. This shall be."
(Gen. 1:11-12). Everything was perfect. It was just good. And He commanded
each one of those seeds that they would be, they would transform themselves
into the plant of which kind of life that the Word of God had spoken in them
should be. If it was an oak tree, it was to bring forth an oak. If it was
a palm, it was to bring forth a palm.
Because the great Creator had just sent forth His Word, and the Word seed
was there before the real seed was ever formed. And the Word formed the seed.
See, He made the world out of things that does not appear (Heb. 11:3). See,
He made the world by His Word. God spoke everything into existence. [13]
Now, if you've
got Eternal Life, if we have Eternal Life, then we always were, because there's
only one form of Eternal Life. We always were. And the reason we were, because
we are a part of God. And God is the only thing that's eternal.
Now, we are a part of God. You always was. You don't remember it, because
you were only an attribute in God. You were only in His thinking. Your very
name, if it ever was on the Book of Life, it was put there before the foundation
of the world (Rev. 13:8). He knew what you were.
I'm only saying this, not to mix up doctrine, but to straighten it out, that
we might get away from this fear and scare: you don't know who you are. You
are not going to be, but now you are the sons of God. See, you always were
the sons of God (Gal. 4:6-7). See?
For when God had you in His thinking at the beginning, you have to be, some
part of you, your Life that's in you now, had to be with God before there...
Well, before you even become material here on earth, before there was anything,
but God, you were one of His attributes. He knowed what your name would be.
He knowed the color of hair you'd have. He knowed all about you. The only
thing happened is when you, being a sinner... [6]
Every seed will bring forth of its kind. If you are a seed of God, an attribute, a son of God, then the Word of God is sown in you. See? And then when you hear the Word of God, "My sheep hear My voice; a stranger they won't follow."... You get it? Then every seed comes forth after its own kind. [14]
In very plain
language the True Bride of Christ was in the mind of God eternally, though
not expressed until each came forth in the designated, decreed season. As
each member came forth it became expressed and took its place in the body.
Thus this bride is the literal Spoken Word Seed Bride. And though she is feminine
in designation she is also called the "body of Christ". It is very
apparent that she ought to be called that for she was predestinated in Him,
came from the same source, was eternal with Him, and is now manifesting God
in a many membered body whereas once God was manifested in one member, even
our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now then, here we are coming to a conclusion. As the eternal Logos (God) was
manifest in the Son, and in Jesus dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,
and that Eternal One was the Father manifest in flesh, and thereby gained
the title of Son, even so we, eternal in His thoughts in our turn became the
many membered Spoken Word Seed, manifest in flesh, and those eternal thoughts
now manifest in flesh are the sons of God, even as we are so called. We did
not become seed by the rebirth, we were seed and therefore were reborn for
only the elect can be reborn. Because we were seed is the reason we could
be quickened. In non-seed there is nothing to quicken (Gal. 4:6).
"Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated, and neither was born, and
neither had done good or evil” (Romans 9:13).
See, it was the thought, and then that thought became expressed, and God bought
back Jacob, because Jacob alone was seed. Jacob, alone had the seed; that
is why he had respect to the birthright and covenant of God. If you are true
seed, you will hear that Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of
Christ, filling you and empowering you, and you will receive the Word for
your day and age. [5]
And you couldn't have any idea of getting right with God, until first He drawed you (John 6:44). So it comes by election then, isn't it? (John 15:16). And everybody here that's ever heard God knock at their heart's door, ought to be the happiest person in the world. Certainly. 'Cause there's some people, He will never knock at their heart. He would, but He, in order to be God, He knowed the end from the beginning. He's not willing that any should perish. Well, you say, "Preacher, how do you preach the Gospel then? How do you know?" I don't know who they are. [15]
